ALUCOPANEL® FR is developed using special minerals formulated together with strict controlled recipe. ALUCOPANEL® FR has achieved “Class A” when tested in accordance to ASTM E84, Class “0” when tested in accordance to BS 476 Part 6, Class “1” when tested in accordance to BS 476 Part 7, Class B-s1, d0 when tested in accordance to European Standard EN 13501-1, hence the product offers all the proven product properties such as flatness, formability, resistance to weather and easy processing.

ALUCOPANEL® FR is composed of two sheets of aluminum alloy 3000 Series with 0.50 mm thickness on Top (Coated with high quality PVDF Paint comes in various finishes such as Solid Colors & Metallic colors) & Bottom (primer coated) that is sandwiched with mineral filled flame retardant ingredients as core material, hence ALUCOPANEL® FR have achieved “Class A” in accordance to ASTM E84, Class B-s1, d0” when tested in accordance to EN 13501-1, Class “0” when tested in accordance to British Standard BS 476 Part 6, “Class 1” when tested in accordance to British Standard BS 476 Part 7 which are mandatory requirements of relevant internationally acceptable standards and is best suitable for external and internal uses.
Core of the panel are mainly composed of mineral which can resist fire, however a small amount of Polyethylene also included. Main ingredient (minerals) does not permit the propagation of flame and restricts development of smoke.
The core material formed in a continuous co-extrusion process with high molecular adhesives. The core material is free of voids and air spaces and does not contain foamed insulation materials.
Requesting clients to adhere following important points before the installation for smooth handing over of your projects: 1) At First level, undertaking letter must be submitted by your Main Consultant OR Fire Consultant to CIVIL DEFENCE mentioning Project Name, Plot No./Area, Project Floors, Type of building etc in order to obtain NOC prior to the installation of Facade System. You can download format of Undertaking Letter which is issued by Dubai Civil Defence. here... wherein all involved parties must sign/seal to undertake that used cladding wall system meets the Latest Edition of UAE Fire & Life Safety Code of Practice in terms of Design, Supply and Installation, and registered by Civil Defence. 2) Secondly, Installation of ALUCOPANEL® FR at project Site must be as per Certified Installation Drawings listed in Civil Defence as Consultant have to undertake on their Letter Head that Installation Inspection will be carried out by specialist at (20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%) of the project stages, so please adhere to the usage of the same assembly components which have been used while Fire Testing (NFPA 285 or BS 8414-1) Large-scale Facade Fire Propagation Testing Standards. WARNING: IN CASE OF ANY CHANGE IN FIXATION DRAWING WHICH DEVIATES CERTIFIED LISTED ASSEMBLY SYSTEM THEN CLIENT SHOULD CHECK FROM CIVIL DEFENCE THROUGH THEIR FIRE CONSULTANTS, MAYBE CIVIL DEFENCE WOULD ACCEPT ENGINEERING EVALUATION IF CHANGE IS MINOR, BUT THIS IS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF CIVIL DEFENCE. IT'S BETTER NOT TO DEVIATE AND FOLLOW THE LISTED COMPONENTS WHICH ARE MENTIONED IN LISTED DRAWING OF ALUCOPANEL® FR ASSEMBLIES IN CIVIL DEFENCE.
